Welcome to Paw Pals Salisbury!

Susie and Andi welcome you to Paw Pals Salisbury. The second Paw Pals branch to open in Wiltshire!

Susie graduated with a degree in Zoology from Leeds University in 2007. She has worked with animals for the past 4 years during her studies and gained work experience in Bristol Zoo's primate section, together with otters and okapi! She also has personal experience of caring for several cats belonging to family and friends away from home.

Andi grew up with a menagerie of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, budgies, cockatiels, quails, goldfish and even a pet crow! He is also currently a co-owner of a pedigree sable Sheltie called Mitch and has also looked after work colleagues dogs/homes on a number of occasions over several years.

They travelled the world in the first half of 2008, where they got up close and personal with the beautiful wildlife in SE Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Now back in Salisbury, which has been home to both of them for the last 25 years, they currently look after Mitsie the cat and Bruno & Franky the cheeky ferrets. They have even had recent experience of caring for an orphaned piglet, Stiggy!

Paw Pals Salisbury has both indoor and outdoor boarding ideal for small animals, and dog boarding available in Susie and Andi's home, or the home of one of their wonderful host families.

Susie and Andi are both keen to build on their knowledge of pet care. Andi has successfully passed the COAPE accredited qualification in pet sitting in June 2009 covering pet first aid, nutrition, animal handling and behaviour.

Susie, Andi and their new member of staff, Rob, are all police-checked, fully insured to look after your pets and home, and members of Pet Sitters International. Our host families are also fully insured and also licenced to look after your dogs in their own homes.

What our clients say

"We just wanted to thank you so much for all the wonderful care you have given clay, and the many fabulous walks! With our thanks and best wishes."
Jo & David Neudegg (Clay) - Previously of Salisbury

"Tuesday afternoon will be your last walk with the boys I'm afraid about which I am very sad.  You and Andi have been amazing - you two are such lovely people and offer and deliver a first class service of the same quality as that offered by my children's nursery; I know that we will not be fortunate enough to find another Susie and Andi Paw Pals and am very grateful that we have been able to have you look after Ben and Harry for as long as you have"
Alison & Andy Birkett (Ben & Harry) - Previously of Ford

"Thank you both for everything this year. You have been brilliant - I can't tell you how nice it is to know you're around - and you are so reliable. Thank you!"
Dani & Sam Humphrey (Kula) - Bishopstone

"We just wanted to say Thank You again for looking after Smudge. I am very over protective towards him, but as soon as I met you, I knew he would be safe & happy. Thank you for helping us at such short notice."
Wendy Whiffin (Smudge) - Salisbury

"We want to say a huge "thankyou" for taking such good care of Charlie and the pigs. Do you know, when he got home he had a huge sleep, he's obviously been fully occupied and entertained, I think it has all been a big fun adventure for him. We're so pleased we've found you, my only regret is we didn't discover you 5 years ago after my sister moved to Brazil."
Jo & Luke Collinson (Charlie, Stripe & Sparkle) - Amesbury

"Just a little Thank You for all your help with the girls. It's clear to see how much they love you, which makes leaving them in your care so easy."
Amy & Mike Hornsey (Tallulah & Daffodil) - Salisbury

"Just a quick note to say thank you so much for looking after Monty so well this weekend - sounds like he had a ball! It is lovely for us to know he had a real home from home. Lots of laps to sit on and long walks - he couldn't believe his luck!"
Jan & Richard Heath (Monty) - Bulford

"Susie and Andi from Paw Pals Salisbury have been walking our two dogs for the past 6 months and we have found them to be absolutely invaluable. They genuinely care about our Golden Retriever, Poppy and Springer Spaniel, Daisy and this is evident in the way our dogs greet them at the front door; they go completely bonkers with excitement! We recommend Paw Pals Salisbury without reservation to any pet owner. They are reliable, flexible and will care for your beloved pets as though they are their own. A pet owner could not ask for more!"
Sue and Rich Clare (Poppy & Daisy) - Harnham, Salisbury

"I can't recommend Susie and Andi highly enough.  Juno bounds out of my car and straight to their door when I drop her off.  They are 100% reliable and have also taken her when something has come up at the last minute.  Nothing is too much trouble and I know that she is in extremely capable and loving hands!"
Emma Fane (Juno) - Burgate

"Thank you both so much for looking after Yoshimi and Loki. It was wonderful to come home to such happy relaxed cats! I know Loki in particular enjoyed the play sessions on the stairs...he was exhausted when we got home! It is just so much nicer to go away knowing they are in such safe hands, and knowing that they thoroughly enjoy your company. We really appreciated the text message updates, and the daily log you left for us when we got home was great. It's these thoughtful details that make your service so exceptional. Thank you! We will definitely be seeing you again soon"
Donna & Ross (Loki & Yoshimi) - Ford

"After a very unsatisfactory experience with a previous dog-walker I was apprehensive about leaving my dogs with someone else. But Susie and Andi have been brilliant. The dogs have stayed with them overnight and been perfectly happy. I get a text message at work every day when they have had their walk. They have taken a lot of trouble to make sure we are happy with the arrangement - and we are!"
Annie and David Riddle (Nel & Glen)

"I am really grateful that Ollie is in such safe and professional hands when I can't be at home. I have found the service to be very friendly and reliable and Ollie really enjoys his walks with Susie! I don't know how I would manage without you now, and I would certainly recommend your service without hesitation to any pet owner that needs a helping hand and wants total peace of mind"
Chris James (Ollie) - Fordingbridge

"Thank you again for doing a lovely job, all the little touches were perfect and we are very happy, it made it a lot easier to leave them knowing they were in such good hands. We will definatley be using you guys again!"
Rich and Steffi (Hannibal, Lector, Buffalo, Mischa and Starling) - Tidworth
